The Studio re-opened in 2021 in a new location in Carlsberg Byen, the former site of the famous brewery. I’ve eaten at the Studio in the Standard restaurant complex before, so this was a must-go, especially as they moved up to the “Top European Restaurant” list to place 78 — a place they deserve.
The studio is led by chef Christoffer Sørensen, who was awarded the Michelin Guide ‘Young Chef 2021’ for his creative and sustainable approach to Nordic gastronomy.
Studio uses local and wild ingredients from Denmark and beyond, cooked with a French foundation and a global outlook.
Studio offers a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with a choice of sitting in the dining room or at the chef’s table, where you can enjoy a personalized menu and interact with the chefs. I took a place at the chef’s table. Give it a try, and you will enjoy it as much as I did.
