We enjoyed an exceptional dinner at the Stucki restaurant in Basel on New Year’s Eve. Situated in the Bruderholz quartier in the south of Basel, Switzerland, Stucki Restaurant stands for culinary excellence under the meticulous guidance of its renowned chef, Tanja Grandits.
Tanja Grandits, one of the best chefs in Switzerland, has transformed Stucki into a gastronomic destination celebrated for its inventive dishes, attention to detail, and commitment to seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Having been here a few times, we had high expectations and were not disappointed. As always, Tanja Grandits infused her dishes with a harmonious blend of flavors, textures, and colors, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
Stepping into Stucki, guests are greeted by an elegant and inviting ambiance that sets the stage for an extraordinary culinary journey.
The restaurant’s sleek, modern décor provides the perfect backdrop for the main event: the food. This time, our table was in one of the larger rooms on the upper floor. I prefer to sit in one of the smaller rooms on the ground floor. However, the upper floor balcony opened at midnight, and we could have a great view of the city and fireworks and enjoy a glass of champagne.
In the world of fine dining, Stucki Restaurant stands as a shining example of culinary excellence. I can only recommend going out on a special occasion and having a great night at Stucki’s.
The commitment to quality was, as always, second to none. For those seeking an unforgettable dining experience that stimulates all senses, a visit to Stucki is an absolute must; not only on New Year’s Eve.
