The Auberge de L’Ill is a two-star Michelin restaurant that offers refined French cuisine inspired by the Haeberlin family’s culinary traditions and the latest creations of chef Marc Haeberlin. The restaurant is located in the charming village of Illhaeusern, near the river Ill, and has a lovely and elegant decor with frescoes, paintings, and flowers. The restaurant is renowned for its signature dishes, such as the salmon soufflé, the frog-leg mousseline, the truffles in ashes, and its extensive wine list and attentive service.

The Auberge de L’Ill is ideal for those seeking a high-quality and memorable stay in Alsace.

During my 3-day stay at the Hotel des Berges, I spent two dinners at the Auberge de l’Ill. On the first evening, I ordered the vegetarian menu, and it was exceptional.
