About Me

Over the years, I developed a passion for food. I started to collect cookbooks towards the end of the 90s. I cooked a lot of the recipes I found. It was fantastic looking at the bookshelves at Books for Cooks, which is still one of my favorite shops to buy cookbooks. At the beginning of the 20s, my shelf would almost fit half of the store. The books are a great inspiration for new dishes.

In early 2000, I started to eat at Terence Conran restaurants in London and Paris. Terence Conran offered great food in very design-oriented restaurants. I still have great memories of eating at the Bluebird, Zinc, Quaglino’s, and others.

At the beginning of the 10s, I started eating my way into the Michelin restaurants. The Reinstoff was one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it closed in early 2019.

Nowadays, I go at least once or twice to great restaurants all around Europe, enjoying mainly Spanish, Nordic, Alpine, French, Italian, and German cuisine.
